What we are looking for
- Explainers that make a complex technology easy to understand.
- Practical guides and how-tos based on hands-on experience.
- Well-argued analysis of industry trends, backed by sources.
- Security advice from practitioners who work in the field.
What we do not accept
- Promotional content, advertorials or articles written to promote a product or service.
- Content that has been published elsewhere, including on your own blog.
- AI-generated articles without substantial human expertise, reporting and editing.
- Articles that exist mainly to place links.
Guidelines
- Length: typically 900–1,800 words.
- Write in clear, plain English for a general but curious audience.
- Cite primary sources and link to them.
- Disclose any conflicts of interest, such as working for a company you mention.

Send a short pitch (a working headline, a three-to-five sentence summary and a few lines about your background) to [email protected]. Please do not send a finished article on first contact. We reply to pitches we are interested in within one week.
